INDIA MISSIONS
Dr Abraham T. Thomas, Missionary
update by Dave

June 2008

The work in India is still progressing and the building has been completed and is occupied by the Seminary. The government fees, taxes and licenses to continue the work have been paid. The extra fees were a surprise of $18,600.00 have been paid by a personal loan on the missionary's personal property. The Lord has supplied faithful givers beyond our expectation. If you are not on the email list to receive Bro. Abraham's reports let me know and I will add you to the monthly list email. We are praying that the balance of the final personal loan will be paid off soon.

The latest news is that Brother Abraham's wife here in California, concerning her colon cancer and radiation treatments, is that they are complete and after her final operation she is cancer free and has recovered and is back at work.

The Seminary has secured its own property building and they are paid for.

The property is in an ideal area close to the city and yet isolated from traffic. It has been secured with a wall and is safe for the building and its contents as well as the students that attend.

The old building is occupied by the church that sponsors the Seminary, is not far away, and still is in use training Baptist preachers and missionaries sponsored by their home churches doing local work in that area. So far over the last 15 years they have graduated over 447 three year students that are now pastoring or doing mission works in India, Burma, and Red China. Video www.reachindiamission.org .
